Building full-stack applications independently across new problem domains, taking each from system design through deployment. Selected projects:

• Who Owes What (whooweswhat.me) — receipt-scanning bill-splitting PWA. React 19 + Vite monorepo, hand-rolled Node/TypeScript API, Neon serverless Postgres, AWS Textract OCR.
• Find For Me (findforme.info) — natural-language place search. Next.js 15, serverless API routes, Gemini function calling, Google Maps, Zod validation with custom rate limiting.

• Led the redesign and migration of fulfillment-domain services from a PHP monolith to Java/Spring Boot microservices, contributing to initiatives that generated millions of dollars in additional annual revenue and strengthening deployment independence, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
• Architected and operated Kubernetes microservices for fulfillment pipelines, tuning horizontal pod autoscaling and memory allocation to reliably absorb 3x traffic surges during peak sales events.
• Redesigned critical fulfillment processing pipelines — introducing Kafka-based async processing and Redis caching — cutting response times from several minutes to 100–300ms and raising operational throughput and customer experience.
• Designed and implemented changes that unblocked EU–UK shipments following Brexit, improving international shipment processing and accuracy.
• Led several front-end redesign projects, migrating legacy JavaScript applications into a unified TypeScript/Next.js monorepo architecture with unit and end-to-end (Cypress) test coverage.
• Mentored a team of 5 engineers through a reorganization, ramping them up on a new project while preserving technical continuity across the fulfillment domain.
• Served as technical domain expert and primary engineering point of contact across engineering, product, and operations.
